Turning the Faded Pages

Turning Pages Jensen

What you will need for this tutorial:-

Paint Shop Pro - (PSP) any version, mine was done in X2

Animation Shop

Tube of choice. I am using the awesome work of Barbara Jensen. You need a license to use Barbara's work, and her tubes can be purchased from her store.

Mask of Choice - I used WSL_148 by Wee Scots Lass.

DSB - Radial Smox

Mura Meister Copies.

Font of choice. - I used Charlie.

 

Let's get started.

Open a new image 600 x 250 pixels at 72 dpi.

Copy and paste your tube onto the canvas . Duplicate this layer .

On the original layer apply DSB Radial Smox .

Now apply Mura Meister Copies - Wallpaper Rotate

Wallpaper Rotate

Apply mask of choice to this layer and merge group. Stretch to fit your canvas if necessary.

Duplicate this layer twice.

Change the blend mode of the middle layer to overlay, and the top one to screen. X- out the top layer for now.

On the top tube layer apply a drop shadow of choice.

Add your name in your font of choice. I used Charlie and placed it Vertically using an inner bevel and a white drop shadow.

Add your © information and license number where necessary.

 

To Animate :-

Make sure the top mask layer is closed. Copy Merged the remaining layers and right click into AS and paste as a new animation.

Back in PSP, open the top mask layer. Copy merged. In AS right click into your first frame,and choose Paste After Current Frame.

In your first frame click and hold Ctrl+A to choose all frames, then change the frame properties to 100.

Now go to Effects, Insert Image Transition, Scroll to find page turn:-

Click on customize:-

Click ok. Then save as a gif.
