Stupid Cupid
What you will need for this tutorial. Paint Shop Pro Tube of choice. I have used the work of Scott Blair . Scott's work is Licensed through MPT and both licenses and tubes are available through them. Heart Mask by Deb and Scrap Kit With Love by AFee. Thanks to both for allowing me to share their work Here. Font - Harrington which is a Windows Font. Filter - Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow -optional
Open your tube, the scrap kit and the mask in psp and minimise.
Copy and paste a paper of choice from the scrap kit and apply the mask from image:-
Merge Group and resize the mask layer by 90%. Copy and paste the white doily from the scrap kit. Duplicate this and resize by 75% . Now paste the Heart Ring and give this a drop shadow :-
Repeat the drop shadow changing the vertical and horizontal settings to -2. Now copy and paste the locked heart and position to the right of the tag as in the example. Drop shadow this in the same way as the heart ring. Your tag should now look something like this:-
Now for the tricky bit of this tag. We are going to add some text around the heart, taking the shape of the top of a heart. With your preset shape set to heart with the following settings:-
Now set your text tool, foreground null, background black, with Harrington Font , Size 28 . and create as vector:-
Now copy and paste your tube and position on the tag where you think it looks best. Resize your tube if necessary. Add the same drop shadow as you did to the heart ring. Open your text tool again, and with the same font, change your background colour to white, foreground null, and type out your name. Stretch it out a little and use the nodes to angle it so it sits on the locked heart nicely. Add the same drop shadow as previous. If you wish to resize your tag now is the time to do so before adding your copyright and license number if applicable. Now save your image as a psp image in layers so you can use it again, then delete the white background layer and merge all the other layers visible. The save your tag as a png.
