What you will need for this tutorial.

Paint Shop Pro ( any version, mine was made in X2)

Animation Shop

Tube of choice. I am using the awesome work of Jennifer Janesko. Jennifer's work is licensed through CILM and both tubes and license must be purchased through them.

Spring Spirit Scrap Kit. This is a collaboration by Blue Dream Designs and Bel Vidotti and can be downloaded Here . Thanks for sharing this kit with us both. Please leave them some thanks when you download the kit.

Font of choice. I used Fiolex Girls which can be obtained from Dafont .

Mask of choice. I used WSL Mask 248 Click on Navigate, then Downloads and you will find all her masks.

Word brushes of choice.

Remember to save your work often.

Let's get started

Open a new image 600x600 at 72 dpi and flood fill with white.

Copy and paste a paper of choice from the scrap kit and apply the mask.

Mask from Image

Now copy and paste the Frame 1 from the Bel Vidotti part of the Scrap Collaboration. Flip the frame then mirror it and resize if necessary. You want the crossed part of the rope to be at the top left of the frame. Using your magic wand, click into each of the four frames and then expand the selection by 5.Copy and paste another paper above the mask layer. Invert the selection and hit delete to get rid of the excess paper. Now apply a texture of choice, or Penta - dot and cross at the default settings. Hide the mask and background layers and then merge visible the frame and fill. Add a drop shadow of choice. I used Eye Candy 5 Impact, Perspective Shadow at the Drop shadow Lowest default Setting.

You should now have something like this:-

Four Frame

Now copy and paste Frame 3 from the kit and resize by 80%. Position this frame so that it's bottom corners meet the bottom of the original frame.

two Frames Position

Using your magic wand, click inside both sides of the frame and then expand your selection by 5.Copy and paste a different paper above the first frame. Invert the selection and delete to remove excess. Do not de-select. Copy and paste your tube on one side of the frame. Resize to suit and hit delete again to remove any excess from outside your frame. Apply the same drop shadow to both the tube, and the frame layer that you used before.

Create a new raster layer and add some word art brushes about Spring or Romance or both. Position these so that they are on the top two frames of the original frame, just above the picture frame:-

Word Art Brushes

Now using the Fiolex Girls Font type out the word LOVE or word of your choice on two lines as a vector,in a colour to suit the tag. Stretch the letters to your liking, and move into position on the picture frame, then convert to a raster layer. Apply an Inner Bevel with the following settings:-

Inner Bevel

beverl2, Width 2, Smoothness 30, Depth 2, Ambience and Shininess 0, Colour White, Angle 315, Intensity 50, Elevation30.

Now add a few of the embellishments from the kit at the top of the tag. Hang the Spring Sign from top rope on the left hand side.

Added Embellishments

Now make your picture frame layer active, and with your magic wand set with tolerance around 25 select all the areas of the pink ribbon down the spine of the frame and the bow:-

Selected Ribbon

Duplicate this layer twice, giving a total of three frame layers. Now go to Adjust, Add Noise and use the following settings on the 1st layer:-

Uniform , 35% and Monochrome ticked .Repeat this on the other two layers, changing the % to 40 and 45 respectively. Selections None.

Now add your name, using the same font and inner bevel as before. If you wish to resize the tag do so now before adding the copyright and any license number as necessary.

We are now ready to animate the tag.

Make sure the top two picture frame layers are still hidden, then Copy Merged the remaining layers :-

Copy merged

Paste this as a New Animation in Animation Shop:-

New Animation

Now, back in PSP hide the bottom frame layer, and open the middle one. Copy merged again, and this time right click onto the first frame in Animation Shop and Select paste after current frame:-

After Current Frame

repeat this process, hiding the middle frame and opening the top frame.

Now optimise and save your finishes tag as a gif.
