Oh So Krusty

Powers Krusty

What you will need to complete this tutorial.

Paint Shop Pro - I am working in X2, but this should be achievable in any version.

Animation Shop

Tube of Choice - I am using this great image by Guy Powers. Guy's work is Licensed through Up Your Art and you must buy the tube from them in order to use it.

Filters - Krusty FX Volume 2

AAA Frames - Photo Frames

Font of Choice - I used Chopin Script

Let's get started

Open a new image 600 x 250 pixels at 72 dpi and flood fill with white.

Go to your Filters, Krusty FX Volume 2 and apply the Metallic Filter as follows:-

Metallic

Add a new Raster Layer and flood fill with white. Krusty FX Volume 2 - Old Wood

Old Wood

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Screen, then merge both layers together.

Take this merged layer into Animation Shop, and apply the Image Transition , Blinds :-

Animation Shop Blinds

I changed the end with colour to a dark brown from the image. You should have 13 frames. Right click into Frame 13 and delete it. Now go to Frame 1, click into the frame then Ctrl + A to select all the frames, Right Click , Copy.

Right click into the workspace, and paste as new animation. With all the frames still selected, go to Animation - Reverse Frames:-

Reverse Frames

Right click and copy, then go to Frame 12 of your original animation, right click and paste after current frame. You should now have something like this:-

Animation

Minimise this for the moment and go back to PSP.

With a gold gradient, angle 45, repeats 0, and your preset shape set to ellipse, line width between 20 and 30. Draw out an oval to almost fill your canvas. Go to Distortion Effects, Ripple, and apply with the following settings:-

Ripple

Apply an Inner Bevel as follows:-

Inner Bevel

Click into the centre of this frame shape, expand the selection by 4. Add a new Raster Layer and drop this below the frame, flood fill with white, then apply Krusty FX Volume 2, Ancient

Ancient

Copy and paste your tube and position into the frame. Resizing as necessary. Selections none. Drop Shadow the tube and frame.

Add a new Raster Layer. Select All, Modify, Select Selection Borders:-

selection Borders

Flood fill this with a dark colour from your background, then apply AAA Frames - Photo Frame :-

Photo Frame

Add your name, copyright information, license number where necessary and taggers mark if used.

Hide the merged background layer, right click into the image, and copy merged. take this into Animation Shop. Duplicate until you have 24 frames, the same number as your animated background.

Open up the background and click into Frame 1, Ctrl +A to select all frames, do the same in the second image you have in Animation Shop (the one with the tube etc.). Now drag this second image into the first frame of the background animation, being careful to make sure that the frame fits to the edges on all four sides. Your second image should now move into all of the frames of the background.

Save your tag as a gif.
