My Heart Beats Like a Drum
What you will need for this tutorial:- Paint Shop Pro - (PSP) any version, mine was done in X2 Animation Shop Tube of choice. I am using the awesome work of Gennadiy Koufay. His work is currently licensed through Creative Design Outlet (CDO) and you can purchase them from their store - when I purchased this tube he was licensed with CILM. Filters - Mura Meister Copies DSB - Linear Transmission and Gears Fonts of choice. - I used Chopin Script and Charlie.
Let's get started. Open a new image 600 x 250 pixels at 72 dpi. Flood fill with a colour from your tube. Copy and paste your tube onto the canvas then apply Mura Meister Copies - Wallpaper Rotate. You may need to increase the Number so that the canvas is almost entirely covered.
On this layer apply DSB Linear Transmission:-
Repeat changing the Vertical to Horizontal. Change the blend mode to screen, or one which suits your tube the best. Duplicate this layer twice. On the bottom layer apply DSB Gears:-
Repeat on the other two layers, changing the Strength to 34 and 44. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize as necessary and position to the left of the tag. Apply drop shadow:-
Using a nice script font, I used Chopin, write a saying in white and position on the right hand side of the tag. Change Blend Mode to Hard Light and apply drop shadow:-
Change your font and colour and add your name. Inner Bevel:-
Drop shadow with same as previous text. Add a new raster layer. select all, contract by 3 or 4 , invert and flood fill with the colour from your text. Apply Inner Bevel as before. Add your © information and license number where required.
To Animate :- Make sure the top two Gear Layers are closed. Copy Merged the remaining layers and right click into AS and paste as a new animation. Back in PSP, close off the first Gears Layer and open the second one. Copy merged. In AS right click into your first frame, and choose Paste After Current Frame. Repeat this with your top Gears Layer, this time right clicking into the second frame in AS. In your first frame click and hold Ctrl+A to choose all frames, then change the frame properties to 35. Save your tag as a gif.
