What you will need for this tutorial:-

Paint Shop Pro - (PSP) any version, mine was done in X2

Animation Shop (AS)

Tube and Image of choice - I am using the awesome work of Sherin Moustafa .Sherin's work is licensed through Dreamscape Imaging and you must purchase tubes from them site to be able to use them.

Mura Meister - Copies

Xero - Tekstya

Eye Candy Impact 5 - Chrome

Font of Choice - I used A Lolita Scorned

Let's get started :-

 

Open a new image 600 x 250 pixels at 72dpi.

Copy and paste your tube onto the canvas.

Mura Meister Copies - Wallpaper Perspective :-

Wallpaper Perspective

Duplicate if necessary,and if you do then Mirror and Merge Visible.

Duplicate.

On the duplicated layer, Radial Blur:-

Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance More

Duplicate this layer :-

Filter , Xero - Tekstya:-

Tekstya

Reduce the opacity of this layer to about 75 - 85 depending on the colour of your tube.

On the original copies layer, Adjust, Blur - Blur More. Do this about 5/6 times.

Merge Visible.

With your pen tool, set to draw straight lines, line width 8, foreground and background colours set to white, draw a line from the bottom left to top right of your canvas. make sure it goes right to the edge of the canvas. Convert to Raster layer.

Effects- Distortion Effects - Wave :-

Eye Candy 5 Impact Chrome at the Bumper Setting:-

Duplicate this layer , Mirror and Flip , Merge these two layer together.

Copy and paste you tube and position to the left of the tag. Add a blurry drop shadow. Crop to size.

Drop your tube under the wavy line layer.

Copy and paste your merged background as a new layer at the top of your layers.

Selections, select all, contract 10, hit delete. Invert your selection, float, defloat and apply cut out :-

Pick out a colour from your tube for the shadow colour.

Add you name using a font like A Lolita Scorned as a vector .Position and when happy with it, convert to a Raster Layer and add a drop shadow.

Add your artist copyright , license number and taggers mark if used.

Now to animate the tag to finish it off.

Close off all layers apart from your background, and main tube. Copy merged and paste as a new animation in AS.

Effects - Insert Image Effect Underwater :-

Click on customize :-

Underwater 2

Create 6 waves with the following X and Y settings :-

Wave 1 - X 24, Y 31

Wave 2 - X -24, Y -33

Wave 3 -X -9, Y -26

Wave 4 - X 9, Y 26

Wave 5 - X 29, Y -30

Wave 6 - X 0, Y 60

Click OK, delete Frame 1.

Back in PSP, open your wavy line, copy and paste into AS as a new animation.

Insert Image Effect- Wave:-

AS Wave

Customize

Delete Frame 1.

In both of your animations, click, into Frame 1 and then hit CTRL+A to select all frames.

Drag your wavy lines onto the first animation. Be careful to position them as close to the corners as possible.

Almost finished.

Back to PSP , open all your other layers. Make sure you have the background and wavy lines closed, copy merged and paste as a new animation in AS. Duplicate until you have 6 frames.

Use the same procedure as above to drag this third animation onto your tag. You will again need to take care to ensure the border fits snuggly.

Now click into Frame 1, hit Ctrl+A then copy and paste as a new animation. Making sure all frames are still selected, go to Animation - Reverse Frames.

Select All, then right click into the original Frame 6 and paste after current frame.

Save as a gif.
