I'll Be Your Heartbreaker
What you will need for this tutorial.
Paint Shop Pro (PSP) any version - my tag was created in X2
Tube of choice- I am using art by Barbara Jensen. Barbara's work is licensed and you must buy a license and the tubes directly from her site before you can use them.
Filters - VM - Instant Art
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Mura Meister - Copies
Mask of choice - I used Becky Mask 23
Fonts - Papyrus and Pixellate (or similar pixel font)
Let's get started
Open a new image 500 x 450 pixels at 72 dpi. Flood fill with white.
Using your preset shape tool set to ellipse, foreground nil, background black, draw out an oval to fit about 2/3rds of your canvas. Position this toward the bottom of your canvas - see my tag for placement. Convert to raster layer.
Selections, select all, float , defloat, then apply VM Instant ARt Screen-O-Rama:-
Now using your pixel font at size 8 ,Anti Alias Off,Create as Vector, foreground colour nil, background colour red, or a colour to suit your tube, type out the words "I'll Be Your Heartbreaker". Align centre in canvas then convert to a raster layer.
Apply Mura Meister Copies - Tiling:-

On your Checked layer, Selections, select all, float , defloat then invert the selection, on the text layer hit delete. Merge the text layer onto the checkered layer.
Add a drop shadow black, Vertical &Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 2. Repeat changing the V&H to -2 .
Now apply Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow :-

Now repeat the drop shadow as before, both setting. You should now have something like this:-
Now take your e,ellipse tool again, and draw out a circle in black. Convert to a raster layer, selections , select all, float , defloat and then add VM Instant ARt - Steel basket with these settings:-
These settings will give you a red effect, depending on your tube you will need to slide the colour sliders till you get the colour you want.
Apply drop shadow, gradient glow and drop shadow as you did on the oval.

now change your preset shape to rectangle, and draw a long rectangle about 100 pixels wide, using black as your background colour, foreground nil. Convert to raster layer, selections all, float, defloat.
Apply VM Instant Art -Barbwire :-

Keep your rectangle selected and copy and paste your tube. Position into the rectangle, selections invert, hit delete to crop off any excess tube. Lower the opacity of the tube layer to 80 and merge the two layers together.
Apply drop shadow, gradient glow and drop shadow as before. Rotate the image 10 degrees left:-

Now draw out another rectangle, this time across the tag , again use black as your background colour. Selections, select all, float, defloat and apply VM Instant Art - Three Corners:-

Colourise this layer to suit the rest of your tag.
Now draw another thinner rectangle across the width of this rectangle. Convert to raster layer, select all, float, defloat and apply VM Instant Art - Wired:-

Merge these two layer together, apply drop shadow, gradient glow and drop shadow as before.

Copy and paste your tube and position to the right of the tag. Give this a blurry drop shadow.
Now with your Papyrus font, type out your name as a vector one letter at a time in Capitals. In the layer palette open the + sign:-
Now move each letter so that they are spaced across the wired rectangle. When you are happy with their position convert to a raster layer.
Apply a drop shadow, black Vertical and Horizontal 1, Opacity about 90, Blur 1.
Ok.... almost there with the shapes.
Find a nice heart shape, and with foreground set as white, background black, line width around 2/3 draw out a heart. Then take your pen tool, set at freehand, colour red, draw a zigzag line to give the broken heart look.

Position this to the left of your tag, above the bottom rectangle, see my tag.
Now make your background layer active, add a new raster layer and flood fill with black. Apply VM Instant Art - Pipeline to Siberia:-
Apply your mask to this layer.
Now add your artist copyright, license number where required and taggers mark if used. Save your tag as a jpeg or png to your preference.
