The Easter Bunny Strikes Again

What you will need for this tutorial.
PSP. I used version X2 but the tutorial can be done in any version.
Animation Shop.
Tube of choice. I'm using the cute Easter Bunny by Elias Chatzoudis. Elias's work is licensed through MPT, and to use it you need to have a license and to purchase tubes from them.
Easter Mini Kit from Blue Dream Designs (FTU), thanks to Bluey for allowing the use of her kits.
Vix Mask 121 Thanks to Vix for the use of this mask.
Filters - DSB Flux bright Noise . If you haven't this filter the noise in PSP will work.
Font of Choice.
Let's get started. remember to save your work as you go along, and name your layers if you find it useful.
Open your tube, mask , paper and elements from the kit and minimise in PSP. Select your font and minimise on your desktop so that it shows in your drop down.
Open a new image 500 x 500 pixels at 72dpi. Flood fill this with white.
Copy and paste a paper from the kit as a new layer . Find your mask in the "New Mask from Image Drop down menu:-

Clock OK, then merge group in your layers palette , resize the mask layer by 105%, make sure that the resize all layers box is unchecked:-
.
Now copy and paste the frame from the kit, and resize it by about 80% . Click inside the frame with your magic wand, then expand your selection by 5 :-

Copy and paste a second paper from the kit so that it sits above the mask, but underneath the frame. Invert the selection :-

Making sure you have the new paper layer active, hit delete to get rid of the excess paper.
Selections none.

Now add the Rainbow from the kit, resize by about 80% and place it under the frame and at the bottom, so that the little cloud shows to the right hand side around the butterfly on the frame.
Give both the frame and the rainbow a drop shadow. I used Eye Candy 5, Impact, Perspective Shadow at the Drop Shadow Lowest Setting, but you can use the Drop Shadow in PSP. Just play with the settings to find one you are happy with.
Next copy and paste a ribbon from the kit, resize by about 80% and then rotate it 20 Right:-

Position the ribbon so that it sits with ribbon showing at the top right and bottom left of your tag, above the mask layer. Right click on this layer in the layer palette and duplicate this layer, then mirror it.

Now add some of the elements from the kit. Resize and sharpen as necessary.
Duplicate your frame layer so that you have 3 layers and name them 1,2,3 starting from the original upwards.

Close off the top two layers as in the screen shot above. Make the 1 layer active in your layers palette, then with the magic wand, set at Tolerance 20, Feather 0:-
click into the blue frame. You want to select all the blue around the flowers. Make sure that the bits around the green butterfly are all selected.
Now find your DSB Bright Noise Filter if you have it:-

I used the following settings:-
Intensity 25, and Lighter ticked. Click the lighter button once, then OK.
Now close off 1, and make 2 active. Repeat the filter but this time click on Lighter twice.
Close 2, and then open 3 , this time click on Lighter 3 times.
(If you are using the Noise in PSP - go to Add Noise, then on layer one use Gaussian at 50% with Monochrome ticked. Increase the % to 55 and 60 on the other layers:-)

Now copy and paste your tube as the top layer of your tag. Drop shadow as before.
Add your text and all necessary copyrights , license number and taggers mark. ( If you wish to resize your tag, do so before adding your copyright so that it is legible.)
If you don't wish to animate your tag, you can now either merge all layers and save as a jpeg, or get rid of the white background layer, merge visible and save as a png. I'll leave that to your preference.
To animate your tag, firstly save your work as a layered image, psp file, so that if you wish to change it, or make it as a gift for someone else, you can go back to it.
Now, making sure that you only have Frame Layer 1 open, right click into your image, and copy merged:-
Right click into the workspace in Animation Shop (AS)and paste as a New Animation:-
OK, you have now created Frame 1 of your Tag.
Back to PSP, close off Frame 1 and open 2. Copy merged again, and go to AS. This time, right click into your Frame 1 and select "Paste After Current Frame":_
Back to PSP again, close off 2, open 3, copy merged, and then this time, paste this after Frame 2.
You now have an image with three frames in AS. If you go to the top, you can view your animation:-
Now all you need to do is optimise and save your work. If you need to know how to optimise an animated tag, see my tutorial Here . save your tag as a gif.
