Christmas Cheer
Paint Shop Pro - mine is done in PSP X2, but I think this should be achievable with any version. Animation Shop Tube of choice. I am using a tube by Carlos Cartagena which was in their 2009 Christmas gift to their customers. Carlos's work is licensed through MPT and you may only use his work if you have a license and buy your tubes from them. Becky's Mask 28 or mask of choice. Christmas Accents and paper of choice. Filter - VDL Adrenaline Snowflakes Open a new image 600 x 600 pixels at 72 dpi and flood fill with white. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a colour to match your tube Apply your mask to this layer. Now go to Effects, Texture Effects, Straw Wall and apply to the mask layer with the following settings:-
Selections, select all, float then defloat then find Effects , Artistic Effects , Coloured Foil and use the following settings:-
Make the colour the same as the colour you used for your mask. Select none. Using your magic wand, click inside the rectangle, then expand your selection by 3. Selections none. Now copy and paste your tube as a new layer and duplicate. Make sure you have one layer above the frame, and one below. Click into the frame again and expand by three as before, invert the selection, then with the tube layer below the frame active, hit delete. Selections none. Add a drop shadow of choice to the bottom tube layer. Also add a drop shadow of -2,2,60,4, black to the frame. Your tag should now look something like this :_
Add any accents you want to the tag. Resize to your liking. I resized mine 85%. Now add the copyright, license number and your taggers mark if used. Otherwise, duplicate the paper layer under the frame twice, to give a total of three layers. Hide the top two for the moment. On the original layer, selections, select all , float then defloat. Go to VDL Adrenaline , snowflakes and set as follows:-
Selections none. Now making sure you have the bottom paper layer active,and the others hidden, right click into your image and copy merged. Take this to Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation.
Repeat with the top paper layer, and clicking into Frame 2 in AS.
