China Doll
Supplies Needed PSP, I'm using PSP X1 but this tutorial should work with any version. Tube of choice. I'm using an image by Barbara Jensen. Barbara's awesome work is licensed, and you can buy a license and tubes at her web site Eroticartistgallery Frame, doodles and two papers/patterns of choice. Mask of choice, I used Becky Mask 22, Font of choice - I used PR Celtic Narrow, but any nice script font would look just as good. Filter -Xero Filters, Porcelain, Radiance and Tekstya available from Xero Graphics This tutorial assumes you have a reasonable working knowledge of PSP. Open a new image 600x600 pixels at 72dpi resolution. Flood fill white. Copy and paste your frame of choice into the centre of your canvas. Resize as necessary. Now copy and paste your tube and arrange so that it has a few bits overhanging the frame.
Now locate your Xero Filters, and find Porcelain
Apply with the following settings:-
Softness 50, Strength 128, Brightness 128, Red and Green Channels 0, Blue Channel 255. Add a drop shadow of choice. I used -2,2,60,2,Black. Now make your frame layer active and locate the Xero Filter called Radiance:-
Apply this filter with the following settings:-
Strangeness 128, Charm 50, Truth 128, Beauty 255. Now take your magic wand and click into the centre of your frame. Make sure you click into any small areas at the side , you want all the white inside the frame selected. Go to selections - modify - expand by 3.Now make your foreground a pattern of choice. I used a paper from a scrap kit that matched the background of my tube.Add a new raster layer above your background layer and flood fill the selected area with your pattern. Now find the Xero Filter Tekstya:-
Apply the filter with these settings:-
Both tone settings 0, Density 127, Depth 127, Highlights 127, Sparsity 1. Selections - Select none. Now add the same drop shadow to your frame as you used on your tube. Copy and paste your doodle of choice and position under the pattern layer. add drop shadow.Your image should know look something like this:-
Add a new layer above the background and flood fill with your second pattern of choice. apply the Tekstya Filter with the same settings as before. Apply your mask of choice to this layer. Resize if necessary so that your mask is just visible around the image. Crop any excess around your image and resize if necessary. Now add your text, copyright and license number where applicable. Now delete the white background layer , save your image as a psp image just in case you want to change anything, or make it for someone else, then merge your layers visible and export as a png.
