Tube of choice. I am using the work of Marco Guaglione . Marco's work is licensed through MPT and tubes and license are available from them.

Font - Fiolex Girls


Let's get started

Open a new image 600 x600 pixels at 72dpi. add a new layer and flood fill with a bright colour from your tube. I chose the red from the polka dots for mine #ED1C24.

Now let's have some fun with a few filters !!

First find your Greg's Factory Output Gradient Blocks:-

Depending on your colour, play about with the setting till you get something you like. My settings are below:-





Now go back into Greg's and look for the Warp Filter, again play about till you get an effect you like:-

Now apply your mask and merge group, resize 90% and duplicate.

On the original layer apply a Gaussian Blur of 20

Now , apply Greg's Factory Output Shear Tiles using the default settings of 128 on each setting:-

Reduce the opacity of this layer to about 70 .

On the duplicate layer resize by 95% and add a drop shadow using the colour you used as your fill. I my case it was the red:-

Adjust the brightness and contrast of this mask layer as below:-

Brightness 0, Contrast 20.

You should now have something like this:-

Add a new raster Layer above your mask layers, and apply a Heart brush of choice using white. Duplicate the brush layer and flip it, then merge the two brush layers together. Change the blend mode to your preference, I used Hard Light on mine.

Now find your preset shape , circle, line width 2, foreground black, background null, and draw a circle as vector layer slightly bigger than your mask:-

With you text tool set to Font Fiolex Girls , Size 48 Pixels, Colour To suit your tube , type your saying around the circle:-

open up the Vector Layer and x -out the black circle:-

Convert the text layer to a raster layer. add the same red drop shadow we added to the mask.

Copy and paste your tube and position over the mask layer to suit. Add a drop shadow at vertical and Horizontal 3, Opacity 60, Blur 4, Colour Black:-

Repeat the drop shadow, changing the Vertical and Horizontal to -3

Add you text using the same font but change your colour to white, and drop shadow with the red drop shadow. Repeat the drop shadow changing the vertical and horizontal settings to -1.

Now resize your tag to suit your requirements. Then add your copyright and license number if required.

Save your tag in layers as a psp image. Then depending on whether you want your tag saved as a jpeg or png , either merge , flatten and save as a jpeg, or delete the white background layer , and save as a png.
