Bathing
What you will need for this tutorial:- Paint Shop Pro - (PSP) any version, mine was done in X2 Animation Shop (AS) Tube and Image of choice - I am using the awesome work of Joseph Corsentino . Joseph's work is licensed through My PSP Tubes and you must purchase tubes from them to be able to use them. Filters Mura's Seamless - Mirror Diagonal and Shift at Zigzag Tramages - Tow the Line Font of Choice - I used Libeled Lady Let's get started :-
Open a new image 600 x 250 pixels at 72dpi, flood fill with white. New Raster Layer, selections, select all. Copy and paste your image into the selection. Add a Radial Blur:-
Repeat the radial blur, then apply Mura's Mirror Diagonal :-
Repeat this again. Now using your freehand selection tool, draw around the bottom triangle:-
Promote the selection to a layer, and duplicate. On the bottom triangle go to Mura's Shift at Zig Zig :-
Change the Blend Mode of the top triangle layer to Screen. Your background should now look something like this:-
Copy and paste your tube and position centrally on the canvas. If using the same tube as me you will not need to alter it's position at all. Now with your rectangle tool, foreground nil, background a dark colour from your tube, draw a rectangle to fill in the gap between your tube and the left hand side of the canvas. Convert to a raster layer, duplicate, mirror and merge the two together. Apply Tramages- Tow the Line :-
With your tube layer active, foreground nil, background white, draw a rectangle across the canvas towards the bottom of the tag. This is the area we are going to animate. Convert to a raster layer, and change the blend mode to overlay. Duplicate this layer twice. On the bottom layer Add Noise as follows:-
On the second layer increase the noise to 70% and on the top layer make it 80%. Add your name and position on top of the animated strip. Now add your artist copyright, license number where required, and taggers mark if used. Now to animate the tag to finish it off. Make sure you only have the bottom white rectangle active, then right click into the image and copy merged. Take this to AS and paste as a new Animation on the workspace. This becomes Frame 1. Back in PSP, close off the bottom rectangle and open the middle one. Copy merged. In AS right click into Frame 1 and choose Paste After Current Frame . Repeat , closing off the middle layer, and opening the top one. Right click into Frame 2 and paste after current frame. You should now have an image with three frames in AS. Save as a gif.
