Autumn Flowers
Paint Shop Pro (any version should work - mine was done in X2) Animation Shop Tube and Image of choice. I have used the gorgeous work of Camilla Drakenborg. Camilla's work is licensed through AMI, and must only be used if you buy your tubes and license Here. Leaf Tubes. I've used some which come with PSP. Becky Mask 22 or Mask of choice. Mura Meister Seamless - Shift At Slant Eye Candy HSB Noise Font of Choice - I used A&S Black Swan, but any nice script font will work Remember to save your work often as you go through the tutorial, and if you wish to name your layers please do so. I have numbered the layers used for the animation only. Open all your supplies and minimise in psp for now. Maximise the image , Shift + D to duplicate, then close the original. Resize your copy image to about 450 pixels wide. Add a new layer, flood fill white and send to the bottom. Go to new Mask Layer, and from the drop down menu choose your Becky Mask 22.
Merge group and then duplicate your mask layer. On the original layer, go to effects Mura Meister Seamless, Shift at Slant and apply with the following settings:-
Apply your mask again to this layer, merge group, the resize this layer by 110%.
Duplicate this layer twice to give you three in total. Number these layers 1,2 and 3 from the bottom up. These layers will form your animation later. Hide the top two of these layers for now. Now go back to your top masked image layer , duplicate this if you want it to be more distinct, merge the two layers together, and change the blend mode to Hard Light, or one which suits your image better. Reduce the opacity of this layer to about 60. You should now have something like this:-
Copy and paste your tube and position slightly to one side. Mine was to the left. Give this a drop shadow of
Now, using the leaf tube of your choice, arrange as many as you want across the bottom of your image. Adjust the angle and size to give a nice bed of leaves.
Using the script font of your choice, and a colour from your image, add the Autumn saying of your choice, as a vector layer. I used a quote by Albert Camus, " Autumn is a second spring, when every leaf is a flower" Position this on the opposite side of your tag to the tube. When happy with it's position and size, convert it to a raster layer. In the layers palette, right click on the text layer, and choose properties, layer properties. Bevel, adjust sliders for size and opacity to suit your text.
Outer Glow, change sliders to suit
.... change blend mode to suit. Using the same font, add your name to the tag, I chose to put mine across the bed of leaves. Add a Bevel and Drop Shadow of Choice . I used the same bevel settings as I did on the quotation, and drop shadow as on the tube. Resize your tag if necessary, then add the copyright, license number if required, and your taggers mark if used. If you do not wish to animate your tag, you can now merge your layers and save your tag as either a jpeg or png according to your preference. To animate, go to your layer you named 1 and apply Eye Candy HSB Noise with the transparent haze settings:-
Apply this to the other two layers, hitting Random button each time.
Now right click into the workspace in animation Shop and Paste as New Animation:-
You now have the first frame of your animation. Go back to PaintShop Pro, close off the bottom mask layer, and open the next one. Repeat the copy merged then take it to Animation Shop . This time , right click into the frame already there, and choose the Paste after Current Frame option:-
Click into the first frame, then press Ctrl + A to select all frames, now right click and choose Frame Properties :-
