Adding Text to an Animated File in Animation Shop

Rose Animation

This tutorial aims to show you how to add text to a file that is already animated.

For this tutorial you will need to download the animated image Here and have a version of Animation Shop.

Open the animated image in Animation Shop and click on Window- Tile:-

All three frames of the animation will now be showing in AS. Now go to File, new and open a new image about 300 x150:-

New Animation

Now go to Edit, Propagate Paste:-

Then go to Tile again . Click on the Materials Palette and choose the colour you wish your text to be:-

then making sure your new animation is your active frame click the text tool and write your text into the empty frame:-

Now go to the first frame of the animated rose and hit CTRL + A on your keyboard. This will select all 3 frames.

Drag and drop the text into the first frame. The propagate paste will paste it into all the other frames for you.

Now run your optimization wizard, then save as a gif.
